Bothering Titus

Inactivity?

Titus is slowing down a little... He is not dehydrated, he has more than enough water and so I wonder if he is going to go into another molt soon. I hope so! I miss my little guy's feistyness!

I stand corrected

So Titus has not mellowed out. Today I went to fill his water and he attacked the tweezers... Twice. After a classmate spoke about wanting to poke him, ironically. He is lighting fast when he pounces... A teleporting spider. After I filled his water bowl as soon as I put it down he went into a threat pose. This is the second time Titus has threatened his water.

Mellowing out

After his last molt Titus seemed to have calmed down some. Instead of attacking everything that comes near him he will back up first, trying to get out of the way. Although he did threaten his water bowl again yesterday! I should get some cool pictures up soon.

Molt!

Titus finally Molted! He is about the size of the palm of my hand now! His molt was very fragile and is really cool to look at. I will post some photo's once I get and put it in a shadow box for safe keeping and easy display.

Titus is at home

Titus is finally at home in the classroom. He has his little heat lamp, and is pretty happy. He was not happy at all when I had to walk from my car into the school... It was very windy. He went nuts and was scrambling all over his cage. Also, the wind was blowing in my direction so the urticating hairs that are left around his cage blew pretty much into my face. You don't get the effect that you would if the hairs were kicked at you, but my nose is very sensitive to the hairs. My siniuses were in pain for the rest of the day, but it was worth it to get Titus settled =] I'm hopeing he will molt soon! I can't wait until this guy gets big!
